AKC papers. and legality?

We were just talking about stuff like this at the local kennel club. With breeders and papers the power is entirely up to the breeder. They have the right to refuse to give papers or give you Limited Registration if the think the dog doesn't have the quality that they want ped down. The judges you talked to may agree with you but only the breeder can decide on the direction he/she wants her lineage to go. If you've had hopes on showing and now this breeder doesn't want you to show the dog and spay her, give the dog back and ask for a refund for the money you already gave her. If not then, get a lawyer and let the courts decide.
