How do I get to and from College?

I just got my learners permit a few weeks ago. I am turning 18 four months from now. I have to go to community college in august (2 months). Since I just ped my got my permit, I cannot take my road test until 6 months later. But I think I can byp this since I turn 18 soon. So should I wait till I am eighteen and then take the test, thus taking the bus to college for the first two months or Is their another way. I am planning on taking drivers this july. Please help me. I have been driving with a parent every day, and I have my own car for later. I just dont want to take a bus or have my mom drop me off at community college. FML
