Is it illegal to have a child over the age of one share a bedroom with a parent?

I already share a room with my daughter, but we will be moving soon and I will have to downgrade a bit because of financial reasons. Thus, I'm afraid I will only be able to afford a one bedroom or a studio. She will be turning a year next month and someone told me it was illegal to continue sharing a room.
