Legality of torrent downloading.........?

Using torrents is legal... sort of. Whether or not it is legal or not depends totally on what you are downloading. It is legal to download shared files that are not Copyright protected...say I had an album of my photos for you to download... I could create a torrent to allow you to download them, THAT is perfectly legal. Using torrents to download or share copyright material such as movies, music, games, software, etc... is Illegal, you are actually stealing the product/services from the copyright holder.
