Minor and alcohol in B.C Canada?

I know that in B.C it is illegal to buy alcohol for a minor, however I was wondering what the legalities were of a minor in possession of alcohol. Can a minor be charged, fined, arrested if caught intoxicated (if only slightly) or with alcohol. I know that in some provinces and the U.S if caught with alcohol you can get charged with a criminal offense, but I haven't found anything regarding that in British Columbia provincial law. I also know that a parent can provide alcohol to a minor if the are under supervision in their own home.... but I just want to know if it is illegal for a minor to drink alcohol and if caught if he/she can be charged with a fine or criminal record in the province of B.C. Thanks
